September 15, 2007 Brad Weber wins the Legends Feature Race, but can not catch Eric Barth for the track championship.  Brad ends the season 2nd in points.  Great run Brad!

Jon Schultz finished 6th in the Street Stock Feature Race and finishes 2nd in the points!  It was a good season for Jon who improved his points finish from 2006 and was in the running for the track championship for most of the year.  Great job Jon!

Tim did not have any motors left after blowing two last week, so he watched from the pits having already won the track championship.  Great season Tim.

Bud and Steve did not race as Steve damaged the car last week.  Bud had a great year of finishes and looks forward to 2008.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 9, 2007 Bud and Brad took a closer look at Steve's Legends car.  There are a lot of broken and bent parts.  To quote Bud, "This looks like a winter project"  It looks like the end of the season for Bud and Steve.  Tim blew two motors last week and will not be racing on 9/15 either.

September 8, 2007 Brad Weber wins the INEX Legends race on a night his sponsors were at the track.  The rest of the team has bad luck.  Tim was involved in a late race incident which affected his rear suspension.  Tim did hold on to 9th place and is the 2007 Charter Raceway Park Modified Champion.  Congratulations Tim!  Jon Schultz breaks an axle in the feature and finishes toward the back.  Jon is 18 points out of 1st Place in the Street Stock Division.  Steve started the Legends feature 18 and moved up to 12th before being involved in an accident.  Steve ended up 21st.  For photos from Steve's crash, click here.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 7, 2007 8 PM Tim has some good runs in the races today, but also has a lot of back luck too.  Tim and the guys will be coming back from Boone tomorrow morning.  They will be going to Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam for the regular Saturday night race program.  NOTE:  Tim blew the motor while leading his heat race on Thursday night.  He almost held the lead anyway, but had to settle for second.

September 6, 2007 10:30 PM A thunderstorm moves toward the racetrack and the web cast is discontinued.  Next update will be sometime on Friday.

September 6, 2007 7:30 PM Tim runs a great racing leading most of the laps, but gets past with one lap to go and finishes 2nd.  It was a very exciting race!  Tim will be running a B-Main a little later tonight!

September 6. 2007 4:27 PM Lynne just heard from Tim that he drew the pole for the 15th heat race for tonight.  This is Tim's best opportunity to make the big race!  In order to secure a spot tonight in Saturday's feature, Tim will need to finish 1st in his heat race and then be in the top 4 of his A-Main!

September 5, 2007 Tim is in heat race 34 of about 40 heat races at the SuperNationals in Boone.  Tim starts 6th and hits the fall while running 3rd late in the heat race and finishes 6th in one of the best heat race of the night according to the web cast.  Lynne heard from Tim tonight.  Tim said he was faster than the second place car and that he is having a ton of fun.  Tim will have two or three more chances to make the big show with another complete round of racing on Thursday and Friday nights.

Results are also available at http://www.imca.com .  (This web site might be down, the web server might not be able to handle the traffic.

Note:  The races are being broadcast on www.racetalklive.com .

September 1, 2007 Tim finishes 4th in his heat race and comes back to win him B-Main race.  In the feature, Tim is involved in a wreck and finishes 17th.  Tim and the crew guys are getting the car ready for the IMCA SuperNational Races this week in Boone, IA.  With over 200 modifieds pre-registered, it will be an exciting show.  Good Luck Tim!

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 25, 2007 Finally the weather cooperates and got the races in at Charter Raceway Park.  It was a pretty good night overall.  Brad Weber made it a clean sweep in the Gibbsville Cheese / Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series INEX Legends Division by winning his heat race and the feature.  Bud Stoudt had a great night with his first heat race win and a 9th in the feature.  Jon Schultz won his feature race and moved within 3 points of the points leader in the Dodge Central Credit Union Street Stock Division.  It looked like Tim would get a transfer from his heat race to the feature, but fell one spot short.  He started up front for the B Main and won it.  Tim started in 13th spot and moved up to challenge for the lead late and ended up 3rd.  Tim leads the Johnsonville Modified Points by 47.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 18, 2007 For the second week in a row rain forces the races at Charter Raceway Park to be cancelled!  Fan Appreciation Night has been rescheduled for next Saturday, August 25.  See the Charter Raceway Park web site at http://www.wismotorsports.net for the details!

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 17, 2007 Tim decides to run at Oshkosh.  He starts 16th in the feature and ends up running out of laps and finishing 3rd.  Brad was unable to make the race at Darlington, but Bud made the trip.  Bud started toward the tail of the feature and battled up to take 8th in the feature.  Thank you to Warren Ropp for getting this race setup, to the fans and sponsors in Darlington and the Lafayette County Speedway Officials and Staff!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 11, 2007    :(   Unfortunately, heavy rains hit Charter Raceway Park a little after 5 PM.  The track and pits could not absorb all the water and the races had to be cancelled.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 5, 2007  It was a warm and humid night at Angell Park Speedway.  We had 21 Legends racing.  Brad Weber looked great winning both his heat race and the feature.  Steve finished 13th in the feature.  We all appreciated the hard work of the Angell Park staff and the Badger Midget staff in getting this race in.  Sun Prairie received over 2 inches of rain Saturday night and Sunday morning.  Thank you to all for a great night of racing!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 4, 2007 Race was Rained Out!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

August 3, 2007:  It was a tough night for the Xracing Team Legends cars.  Brad was involved in an accident early in the feature.  Brad was not able to continue.  A bolt broke on Bud's 66 Legend late in the feature race.  Hopefully we will have better luck on Saturday night.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 28, 2007:  Jon Schultz get the feature win for the team this week in the Street Stock Division.  Brad Weber battles hard with Eric Barth and comes up just short of the feature win, settling for second.  Tim has a harder time getting through traffic this week and ends up a strong third.  Bud has a strong run going, but the big white tire jumped out at him and breaks front suspension parts, costing him a third or fourth place finish.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 21, 2007:  It was another clean sweep for Tim as he won both his heat race and the feature.  Tim has a big lead in the points at Charter Raceway Park.  Jon Schultz also won his feature race and remains solidly in second place in the Street Stock points.  Brad Weber won his heat race, but broke an axle in the feature and finished last.  Steve got half of the "spin and win" thing right as he spun out in each his heat race and the feature.  Steve recovered from his feature spin and make in back to 9th place by the end of the feature.

Thank you Jason Williams for the Photo!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 14, 2007:  We have not heard how Tim did at the race in Luxemburg on Friday night.  We know he was not in the top 5.  While Steve did not get to race this weekend, he did get plenty of laps in at Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam on Saturday Night.  Steve filled in as the Pace Truck Driver for the IRA Sprint Car / Badger Midget Show!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 7, 2007:  07/07/07 is lucky for most of the Xracing Team!  Tim Lemirande, Brad Weber and Jon Schultz each made it a clean sweep (Heat Race and Feature Race Wins)!  Steve loses a top 10 finish when a bolt bust off ending his night.  Fortunately it happened during a yellow flag and Steve and the car are OK.

Way to go Tim, Brad and Jon!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 30, 2007:  There was good news and less than good news for the Xracing Team on Saturday Night.

Brad Weber won the Legends race, but found that a motor mount bracket broke which caused the oil pan to rub on a bolt which created a hole.  It appears the engine is OK and Brad is expected back next week.  Brad is in second in the INEX Legends points at the track.  Great Run Brad!

Bud Stoudt started the feature on the outside pole and was holding his own throughout much of the race.  It was great to see the 99 and 66 Legends cars in first and second place for much of the early part of the race.  Unfortunately for Bud, he spun out around lap 13.  Darwin Banes had no where to go and hit Bud on the passenger side of the car causing a flat tire.  Although Bud was credited with last place, he ran a much better race than that.

Jon Schultz won his heat race and finished 4th in the feature.  Jon is tied for second place in point in the Street Stocks Division

Tim won his heat race in his Modified and started 12th in the feature.  Tim was working his way through traffic when he and the 89 car of Adam Reed made contact in corner 2.  Track officials decided that Tim was the cause of the accident and put him to the rear.  Tim came through the pack to get as high as second.  Late in the race, a car bumped him from behind in corner 2 causing Tim's car to get loose.  Tim fell back to 5th.  On the last restart, Tack Officials said Tim jumped the restart.  The penalty is loss of two positions at the next yellow or loss of two positions at the end of the race.  So, it looked like Tim finished 5th, but was credited with a 7th place finish.  Tim did extend his lead in the Modified Points for the year.

Steve will be running the Legends car next weekend.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 26, 2007:  It was a new experience for Steve to race on asphalt.  This was his first (and probably last) attempt to tame the tar.  The car did not handle well in the heat race.  We made adjustments and the car was better for the feature.  Steve probably finished somewhere around 17th.  The good news is 17th pays the same as 6th place.  So maybe we should say Steve finished tied for 6th according to the payout.

A special thanks goes out to Bud Stoudt, Jon Schultz and Tim Lemirnade for helping Steve in the pits.

This Saturday it is Bud's turn to run the 66 Legends Car.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 23, 2007:  It was an exciting night of racing at Charter Raceway Park.  Often the cars were 3 and 4 wide in the corners!

Tim uses his patented high line in the feature to capture his 3rd win of the season!  Tim also won his heat race for another clean sweep.

Jon Schultz was moving through traffic in his feature until another car cut him off going into turn one.  Jon hit the other car it what looked to me like a racing accident.  The track officials saw it differently and sent Jon to the back of the pack of cars for the restart.  Jon passed some cars but could not totally overcome the penalty and finished 13th.

Brad Weber won his heat race, but had all sorts of problems in the feature.  Brad fell back on the start of the feature when his car would not shift into the next gear (probably a stone stuck in the shift linkage).  After the stone dislodged itself, Brad started his usual charge to the front.  Unfortunately Brad broke a spindle and retired from the race early finishing in 15th.

It was Steve's turn to drive the yellow 66 Legends car.  Steve spun out late in the race and finished 13th.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 16, 2007:  There were a lot of outstanding races at Charter Raceway Park!  Two of the most exciting races were the Mods and Legends features.  Tim made it a clean sweep, winning his heat race and the feature, but it was by no means easy.  Tim started in 12th spot and quickly worked his way through traffic.  First place came down to a classic Lemirande / Schraufnagel battle.  Tim got around Jay on lap 11 and survived a few restarts after yellow flags.  Jay make a great move to retake the lead on lap 18.  Tim battled back to the lead on the last lap.  Tim would run the bottom line coming out of turn 4 for the checkers to take the win!  If you were not there, you missed a classic race!  Tim increase his points lead to 11 with the feature win.

Brad Weber came up one position short of the clean sweep with a second place finish in the Legends feature.  Brad started 10th, but fell to the back as his steering wheel came lose.  After regrouping, Brad started his move to the front.  In a race that saw three and four wide racing, it took Brad until the 2nd half of the race to get up front.  Brad was able to pull along side eventual winner Joel Wyttenbach, but could not get the lead.  Brad fell back to third as Eric Barth got by him.  Brad made a great move to get the second spot back on the last lap.  Brad is leading the Legends points at Charter Raceway Park.

Bud Stoudt looked very good in the 66 Legends Car.  He lead his first lap of the season in the heat race and made one of the invert positions.  Bud started outside poll for the feature and hung in there for a long time.  With great battles throughout the Legends field, Bud settled into sixth position.  While trying to find a faster line, Bud spun out and restarted in the back.  Bud passed several cars and ended up 12th and showed that he will be will be competative with the top cars.

Jon Schultz had an exciting heat race and finished second.  It was a drag race to the finish and Jon came up a little short of the win. In the feature, Jon got stuck in traffic and had a hard time moving forward.  Jon did make a great last lap move to make it up to the 8th position.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 9, 2007:  It was nice to be at Charter Raceway Park after the fire.  They have done an outstanding job of getting things back in shape!  Overall, it was a pretty good night for the team!  Brad Weber won his Legends heat race and the feature.  Jon Schultz finished second in the Street Stock feature.  Tim was credited with a 7th place finish in the crash filled, shorted Modified feature.  Tim also won the B-main.  Steve was in the Legends car for the first time this season.  Steve finished the feature in eighth.  Next week Bud will be racing the 66 Yellow Legends car.

Tim retained his first place points position in the Modifieds.  Brad moved to first place in the Legends points.  Jon Schultz is second in Street Stock points.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 2, 2007:  The Legends get their heat races in at Manitowoc before the fog rolls in.  The feature could not be run because of the fog.  Drivers could not see the not see the end of the straight aways.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 30, 2007:  Tim and Jon take the weekend off as there is a special race scheduled for Charter Raceway Park.  Bud and Brad are planning on running at Manitowoc on Saturday, June 2.  Steve will be helping out at Charter Raceway Park on June 2.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 27, 2007:  Tim makes the feature from the B-Main after being Black Flagged in his heat race.  Tim starts the feature in last place and has trouble getting through traffic.  Tim finished in the bottom half of the feature.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 26, 2007:  The Legends Cars are rained out in Manitowoc.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 25, 2007:  Tim finishes 2 in the heat race and 10th in the feature at Luxemburg.  The track was very tacky and fast.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 25, 2007:  We are happy to hear that Charter Raceway Park will be able to continue the season!  Click Here for the Details!

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 20, 2007:  The main building at Charter Raceway Park was destroyed by fire today.  It appears that the fire was started by some kids that vandalized the building before burning it.  Rumor has it that there are kids in custody for starting the fire.  More information will be released later about short term and long term plans for the track.

Please say a prayer for Rex, the track owners and all the people who work for the track.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 19, 2007:  Tim has another great night, winning his heat race and finishing 2nd in the feature!  Tim started 12 in the feature an moved forward to take the lead around lap 13.  Unfortunately, the handling was going away as the race progressed and he lost the lead on lap 15.  Brad Weber had a good night finishing 1st in his heat race and 3rd in the feature.  Bud Stoudt improved two spot from the last race with an impressive 8th place finish in the Legends feature.  Jon Schultz also won his heat race and finished 2nd in the feature.  The bad news for Jon is that he might have blown up his motor.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 12, 2007:  Tim was the only one of the Xracing Team racing this week.  It looked like a good night for Tim as he was able to move through heavy traffic in his heat race to get up to second, the last transfer spot for the feature.  Unfortunately, a loose fuel connection was spotted by track officials and Tim was Black Flagged.  Tim was able to start the B-Main in the back and quickly move through traffic to easily win that race and move to the 14th starting spot in the feature.  Traffic was heavy (some times 5 wide in the corners) in the very competitive feature race.  Tim  make steady progress early, moving up to as high as 4th place.  Tim lost a couple of spots on a late race restart and ended up finishing a very respectable 5th.  No matter where Tim finishes, he is exciting to watch!  If you do not believe me, check out the Charter Raceway Park Picture Page by clicking here!

Mike Meeker was involved in an accident not of his making.  He hit the wall pretty hard in the back stretch.  He is OK and expecting to have the car ready for next week's race.

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 5, 2006:  It was an overall great night for the Xracing team.  Tim won the Modified feature after somehow avoiding getting hit in a opening lap incident.  Tim got to the front by lap 2 and was never seriously challenged.  Brad Weber won his heat race and finished 2nd in the Legends feature.  Brad was catching the leader, but ran out of laps.  Bud finished a very respectable 10 in the Legends feature.  A lot of people commented how great Bud did in the car.  Smooth was the word of the night for Bud.  Jon Schultz won his heat race easily and started in the 5th row of the feature.  He picked up some spots early and then fell back.  In the later parts of the race Jon headed to the front.  Jon made a pass for the 4th position in a drag race to the checkered flag.  You can review results, points, press releases and photos at the Charter Raceway Park web site.  Click here for the results page.

A special mention to Mike Meeker, who despite damage to his car finished 12 in the feature.  Mike also won his heat race.  Mike's company, Meeker Construction sponsored a night at the races.  Check Mike's web site out at http://www.mlsracing.com .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

April 28, 2007:  The Xracing team took to the track at Charter Raceway Park (formerly Powercom Park) in Beaver Dam to test and practice for the May 5th Season Opener.  A strong wind out of the North West, temperatures in the 70's and the sunshine took its toll on the track.  The track dried out after the first few practice sessions.  Everyone is looking forward to next weeks opener.  Bud will be piloting the yellow 66 Legend Car for the May 5th race.  Join us at the track for great racing action.  For more information, go to the track website at http://www.wismotorsports.net .  Below are some photos from the practice session.

Jon Schultz had an impressive run in his first heat race in the Stock Car division.  His race came down to the last corner of the last lap as he and the 38S Aaron Streblow had a drag race to the checkers. Jon came up less than a car length sort to take second.  Great run Jon!

Mike Meeker looked good in his Modified heat.  Mike challenged for the lead during the heat and also fell back as far as third before charging back to finish second.

Some pictures will be posted later.

Update 9/24/05 - Beaver Dam:  Steve runs with the World of Outlaws!  Well not exactly, the Legend Cars were on the program with the World of Outlaw cars at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Steve finished 6th in his heat and 17th in the feature.  A special thanks to Tim Lemirande for helping Steve out on Saturday!  We know Tim would rather be racing!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 9/2/05 - Darlington:  Pete finishes 3rd in the feature with a very impressive run.  (Going against cars with a lot more horsepower on a tacky track).  Great job Pete!

Steve finishes the Legend car feature somewhere around 11th place.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 8/30/05 - Oshkosh:  Congratulation to Jon Schultz on winning the Dirt Devil points championship at the Speed Zone in Oshkosh!  Jon is also leading the points at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Good luck Jon!  Go get em!

Pete race the modified at Oshkosh finishing 13th in the feature.  No heat races were run so cars were lined up by points.  Pete's first race was one of the B-mains from which he transfer to the feature.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 8/14/05 - Seymour:  Tim finishes second in his heat and 5th in the feature.  Beaver Dam:  Jon Schultz finishes second in the Dirt Devil feature, but takes over the points lead at Powercom Park.  He also leads the points at Oshkosh.  Mike Meeker did not transfer to the feature tonight, but came close in his B-main.  Bob Mann transferred from his heat race into the feature.  Unfortunately, Bob was involved in an early accident in the feature.  Steve finished 15th in the Legend Car feature.  On Friday at Chilton, Steve finished around 12th in the feature.

Please keep Kevin Doty in your prayers.  He took a nasty flip in the Badger Midget feature at Angell Park on Sunday, August 14th.  It looked like the roll cage hit the wall during the flip.  It took about 20 minutes to get him out of the car and he was immediately transported to the hospital.  We hope that he is not injured.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 07/03/2005 - Seymour:  Tim has brake problems in the heat and finishes 5th missing the invert by one spot.  After starting 14th in the feature Tim finishes somewhere between 7th & 9th.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 07/02/2005 - Beaver Dam:  Mike finished 2nd in his heat and 20th in the feature.  Mike had a flat tire after contact with a another car early in the feature.  Pete was involved in an accident in his heat race.  Although Pete was able to continue, a few laps later the steering box broke, almost sending Pete into the wall.  Pete was not able to transfer from the B-main.  Steve had a good run going in the feature until an upper ball joint broke on the left front tire almost throwing him into the wall.  Steve was running 10th when that happened and finished 17th.  Jon Schultz did not win his feature tonight, but he remains to lead the points in the Dirt Devil division at both tracks.  Tim did not race on Saturday.  He will be racing at Seymour on Sunday night if the weather cooperates.

Steve wants to thanks the legend drivers, Pete and his crew and Chris (home on leave from the Army) for helping fix the car enough to get it on the trailer!

Next week at Beaver Dam is a National Legend Car Touring Series event.  The Legends will be racing along with the 4 regular divisions.

Sorry about the gap in posting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 06/18/2005 - Plymouth:  Tim had to run the B-main and transferred to the A-main.  Tim finished 6th in the feature after starting toward the back.        Beaver Dam: Jon Schultz runs a smooth and smart race to win the Dirt Devil feature.  Great job Jon!  Pete did not race tonight.  Bob Mann brought his modified out for the first time this season (the car is for sale).  He finished 4th in the B-main, just two positions short of making the big show.  Mike Meeker just missed a transfer spot in his heat by one position.  He finished back in the pack in the B-main after a flat tire.  There was a strong field of 49 modifieds on hand for the race.  Steve finished 21st in the Legend feature.  Steve did not figure out how to drive the Legend on a dry slick track and spun out twice in the feature.  There was excellent racing in all divisions throughout the night!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 06/11/05 - Thunder Hill:  Tim finishes 4th in the WDLMA Special.

At Beaver Dam, Mike finishes 9th in the mod feature.  Jon was 6th in the Dirt Devil feature.  Steve finished 10th in the Legend feature.  We were glad to see that Mike Mueller, driver of the MOO Dirt Devil was OK after he flipped hard in turn three of the their feature.  The car flipped at least 6 time if not 8 or 9.  We spoke with Mike after the race and he looked OK.  The roll cage in his car saved him from serious injury.  A quality roll cage is very important! He said he will have another car ready for next week.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 06/10/05 - Luxemburg: Tim gets his heat race in but rain ends the show early.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 06/07/05 - Oshkosh: Jon Shultz wins the feature in the Dirt Devils

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 6/4/05 - Beaver Dam:  Rained out! :(

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 6/3/05 - Darlington:  Steve does not make it to Darlington, but Pete goes with the mod and finishes 4th in the feature.  Great job Pete!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 5/31/05 - Oshkosh: Jon Schultz pulls away to win the Dirt Devil Feature.  Jon is in 6th place in points at Beaver Dam (only 10 points from 1st).  At Oshkosh, Jon is 2nd in points (only 2 points from 1st)  Great job Jon!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 5/30/05 - Beaver Dam:  Tim is involved in an accident at the very start of the race.  The car was not able to be repaired at the track.  Mike had a good run going in his heat until he cut down a right rear tire.  Mike was not able to transfer from the B-main.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 5/28/2005 - Beaver Dam:  Congratulations to Mike Meeker on his first heat race win and first start in the feature.  Unfortunately Mike was involved in a accident in the feature and finished around 14th.  Pete's first time out for the year was a good one as he made it through the B-main to the feature.  Pete worked his way through traffic getting up to 4th place before being caught in the wrong line in traffic and falling back to 8th.  Look for even better things from Mike and Pete this year.  Jon Schultz had problems in his heat race, but came back to win the B-main as well as the A-main.  Great job Jon and crew!.  Steve started 18th in the feature and finished 13th in his legend.

Shawano:  Tim started 17th in the feature and used the cushion to get up to 7th.  I believe the feature race went green, white, checker.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 5/24/2005 - Oshkosh, WI:  Congratulations to Jon Schultz on his Feature win!  Tim's car did not handle well and he finished 12th in the feature.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update:  5/21/2005 - Beaver Dam:  Tim finishes 2nd in feature.  Steve finishes 15th in feature.  Jon Schultz blows motor (or something) while leading his feature.  Mike finishes 4th in his B-Main.  Where was Pete?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 5/20/2005 - Darlington, WI:  Steve's first race in the Legend car is now over.  Steve finished 8th in the feature at Darlington.  Steve is looking forward to racing the Legend car at Powercom Park tomorrow night!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 5/14/2005:  Wet grounds causes both Powercom Park in Beaver Dam and Shawano to cancel there races for the night!  Next week everyone is at Powercom Park.  Jon Schultz will be at Oshkosh Tuesday night - weather permitting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: Oshkosh - 05/10/2005:  Tim qualified 8th in time trials.  He started the feature in 8th and moved into 4th early in the race.  Unfortunately, he had a slow leak in his right rear tire which caused him to fall back to 13th.

Jon Schultz finished 4th in his feature.  Congratulations to Mike Mueller for his win in the Dirt Devil division.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: Shawano - 05/07/2005:  Tim finishes 10th or 11th in the feature.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 05/02/2005 - From Steve:  Thank you to all of you who voted for the Legend cars at Angell Park.  The voting is now over and the Legend class won by a substantial margin.  This should help us get the opportunity to race there.  Thanks!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: 05/01/2005: Congratulations to Tim on his 2nd place finish in the dirt Late Model feature at Shawano!  Tim started 14th in the feature and dropped back two spots before making his run to the front.  You can read the story on the Shawano web site at this link.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update: 04/30/2005: Steve practiced his Legend car and Mike Meeker practiced his modified at Powercom Park on Saturday.  The previous Saturday, Tim Lemirande, Mike and Pete Laubmeier practice at the Beaver Dam, WI track.  Pete had his picture take and it was posted on the tracks website and in the Checkered Flag paper.  Too bad for Pete, the picture taker thought it was Steve Boelter.  (Pete did not have the vinyl on the car and the 11x was on the roof.)  To see Pete's car, click here!  We were sad to here that Bob Mann is not going to race this year, but we are glad to here that he will be at the track on a regular basis helping Mike!

Here are two pictures of Mike's new car for the 2005 season:

The car looks great Mike!

Update:  November 29, 2004

Work toward the 2005 season has already started!  Tim & Bill are building a new MastersBilt dirt late model chassis to run mainly in the Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association races.  WDLMA's home track will be Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Expect the dirt late models to run a total of 17 races between both the Beaver Dam and Oshkosh Powercom tracks.  Come see Tim's new car at the Racer's Auction in Green Bay!

Pete bought the 2003 Pro modified that Tim won track championships at both Oshkosh and Beaver Dam Powercom tracks in 2003.  We are sure Pete will be even faster this year!

Mike bought Pete car and is looking forward to a better year in 2005.

Jon Schultz will be running his 11x in the Dirt Devil division in 2005.

Steve will be running a Legend car in 2005.  He will be running mainly at Beaver Dam.  Expect to see Steve at some of the other tracks the Legends run including Oshkosh.  There are some rumors about the Legend cars running at the Milwaukee Mile.  It would be partially on the oval and partly on a road course that was built in the infield of the track.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: October 1 & 2, 2004 - Lawrenceburg Speedway, IN - Legend Car Dirt Nationals

Congratulations to the Wisconsin Legend racers!  Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City won the Nationals feature race in the Semi Pros Division.  Adam Reed finished 24th in the Semi Pro feature race.

Wisconsin Legend racers also did great in the Masters division Nationals feature race with Eric Barth (the 2004 National Points Champion in the Masters Division) finishing 3rd, Kevin Brill was 4th and Greg Hartlaub was 7th.  Warren Ropp (from Iowa), who has also raced in some of the Wisconsin Legend races finished 2nd.

In the Pro Division, Aaron Rake finished 12th in the Nationals feature race.

Update: October 2, 2004 - Plymouth, WI

Tim wins the B-main and works his way up from his 14 starting position to 2nd in the feature.  29 WDLMA cars were on hand .  Tim would like to thank Ralph Aschenbrenner and his crew of Steve and Wayne for helping get Tim's car ready for the feature.

Update: October 1, 2004 - Luxemburg, WI (10:50 PM 10/1/04)

The Friday night part of the two day special at Luxemburg was rained out during the 3rd Late Model heat.  There were 33 Dirt Late Models on hand for the race.  Tim was scheduled to be in the 4th heat.  The Dirt Late Models are scheduled to run with the IRA sprint cars at Plymouth, WI tomorrow.  The Luxemburg show will not be made up.

Update: September 16th & 17th, 2004 - Cedar Lake, WI

Tim had some good runs in the first two nights of the WISSOTA 100 at Cedar Lake, WI.  On Thursday night, Tim started toward the back in his heat and moved up to 5th by the end of the race, which would have earned him a good number of passing points.  Unfortunately, Tim thought he finished 7th and did not go to the scales after the race to get weighed and teched.  That resulted in Tim being disqualified.  On Friday, Tim almost made the feature with a good run up to 4th place in the B-main.  (Only the first two places in the B-main transferred).  Tim's next races will be WDLMA races at Luxemburg Speedway on Friday October 1st and at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, WI on Saturday October 2nd.

Update: September 14, 2004 - Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

It was the 3rd installment of the modified specials at Powercom Park.  The small crowd in the stands were treated to another outstanding modified feature!  For most of the feature, Scott Mullen, Jay Schraufnagel and Mike Wedelstadt raced side by side.  Jay took the lead around lap 25 of the 30 lap feature after a 7 lap side by side race, but was penealized two positions for hitting the restart cone on a previous restart.  That put Mullen back in 1st and Wedelstadt 2nd with Jay 3rd.  Wedelstadt raced Scott very hard as Jay charged from his third position.  Unfortunately Wedelstadt decided to try for the win by banging into Scott  and the Jay on the last lap.  Scott Mullen picked up the $2,000 winners check.  Bob and Pete both made the feature.  Bob was involved in an early accident and had to leave the track.  We guess he finished somewhere around 18th.  Pete battled ignition problems in his heat, B-main and A-main and still brought the car home in 13th.  Good run Pete!  Steve was involved in an accident in his B-main and had to pull into the infield.

Update: September 11, 2004 - Powercom Park, Beaver Dam & Shawano

The last points night at Powercom Park produced a lot of good racing and a lot of damaged race cars.  Our hats are off to Jay Schraufnagel and feature winner Russ Reinwald on putting on an exciting race.  Jay passed Russ for the lead and then Russ passed Jay back.  It came down to a drag race off the 4th corner with Russ winning by less than a car length.  Great run Russ!  Congratulations to Jay Schraufnagel for winning the modified division points championship.  Bob Mann was able to transfer from the B-main into the A-main and finished around 16th.  Mike Meeker had mechanical problems with his steering and hit the wall in his heat race.  Mike was not able to get it fixed for the B-Main.  Steve finished 5th in his heat and 4th in his B-main (one spot short of the transfer spot).  We would like to wish Craig Priewe the best after his hard hit into the wall and roll over.  Craig had lost consciousness and was transported to the hospital.  Before we left the track we were told Craig was released and on his way back to the track.  Like the typical racer, he needed to see how bad the car was damaged.  We just hope Craig did not have a relapse when he saw how bad it was damaged.  Bob, Steve and Pete will be racing at the Modified Special this Tuesday at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

Congratulations to Jon Schultz on an outstanding year.  With a little better luck, he would have won the points championship, but Jon had to settle for 2nd place in the Dirt Devil final point standing.  Jon did win tonight's feature.

Congratulations to Eric Barth on winning about everything there was to win in the Legend Division this year.  We believe he won the State of Wisconsin points and the points at both Powercom tracks (Beaver Dam and Oshkosh).  We also believe Eric is leading the National INEX Legend points in the Masters Division - Dirt.  Great year Eric and Joan!

Tim started 2nd in the Late Model feature and took the lead for five laps before falling back to finish in 5th.  Great run in you rookie season, Tim!  10th in Late Model Points and rookie of the year at Shawano and two Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association feature wins!  Tim's next race will be at Cedar Lake Speedway's 19th Annual WISSOTA 100.  Racing will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Cedar Lake's website is http://www.cedarlakespeedway.com .  Best of Luck on making the big show on Saturday Tim!

Update: September 6, 2004 - Seymour, WI

Tim finished 8th in the WDLMA feature at Seymour.

Update: September 4, 2004 - Shawano - Grant County Speedway - Lancaster, WI

Tim finishes the final points night at Shawano with a 2nd place finish.  That should easily make him rookie of the year in the Dirt Late Model Division and earn him either 9th or 10th in points.  Tim has had an outstanding year to date in his first year in the late model.  Tim has two wins in the WDLMA.  Tim's next race will be this Monday at Seymour (WDLMA sanctioned).  Tim will be running several year end specials.  Great year and congratulations Tim!

Scott Schanke bolted on some Hoosier tires and took Steve's 11x modified  for a spin around the 3/8th mile track at Lancaster, WI.  The IRA sprint cars were also there so the support divisions did not get heat races, they only got hot laps and a feature.  Scott started 9th and finished 7th in the feature.  It was great meeting Scott's hard working crew of Corey and Jeff.  Scott did a great job especially for being underpowered compared to the mods that race there regularly and for the first time in a race car in 04.  After last night, we think we might see Scott in a car for next year.  Great job Scott!

Update: September 3, 2004  - Dodge County Fairgrounds - Beaver Dam, WI

Bob Mann has a good night finishing 3rd in his heat and 9th in the feature.  Steve did not do as good finishing last in his heat and toward the back of the B-main.  It was fun getting back on the 1/2 mile track.

Bob, Steve and Mike will be racing at Powercom Park next Saturday, September 11.  (Pete is standing up in a wedding and will not make the last points night)

Update: August 31, 2004 - Powercom Speed Zone - Oshkosh, WI

Congratulations to Bob Mann for his 11th place finish in the feature and for his 11th place finish in the season points at Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh.  From a quick check of the standings, we believe that Bob is the top finishing rookie in the modified division.  Great job Bob and good luck at the Dodge County Fairgrounds this coming Friday!

Jon Schultz ran in the Dirt Devil division and finished 2nd in the feature.  Jon has had a very good year.  Congratulations to Mike Mueller in the 00M car who won the season ending points at Oshkosh and is leading the points at Beaver Dam (by 20 points over Jon Schultz).  Great job Jon and Mike!

Update for the week starting August 22, 2004

Tim had planned on running the Triple Crown special race Saturday at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  That race was cancelled because of rain around 5 PM.  Tim's crew loaded the car up and went to Shawano.  Tim was 8th in the feature after breaking the steering rack. Tim's next race is at Shawano next Saturday which is the last points night.  Tim has a chance to finish in the top 10 in points and should be the Dirt Late Model rookie of the year.

Steve's plan to race at the fairgrounds on Saturday were cancelled due to bad weather.  See Steve at the fairgrounds next Friday.

Pete raced twice this week with good finished both nights.  Pete raced at Grant County Speedway in Lancaster on Wednesday night.  Pete finished 7th in the A-main.  On Friday night Pete and Mike went to Darlington to race.  Pete finished 5th in the feature.  We're not sure where Mike finished.  Pete may race some end of the year specials.  Mike's next race will be Saturday, September 11 at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

On Tuesday, August 24, 2004, Bob Mann finished 9th in the A-main at Powercom Speed Zone.  Good run Bob!  Bob's next two races are Tuesday, August 31 at Powercom Speed Zone and on September 3 at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.  (Steve will also be racing that night at the Fairgrounds.)

Update: August 21, 2004 Shawano, Powercom Park, Beaver Dam

Tim had ignition problems.  We are not sure where he finished.

The Xracing Mod team had a tough night  no of the four made the A-main.  The Mod A-main was a good race to watch.  Brian Mullen and Jay Schraufnagel had an outstanding battle going for most of the race.  Congratulations to Craig Priewe and the Schoenberger crew on Craig's second feature win of the year.

Early on it looked like Jon Schultz would have an easy time winning the Dirt Devil feature, but he spun out on some transmission fluid that leaked from another car.  Jon had to go to the back of the pack.  I'm not sure where he finished.

We would also like to congratulate Eric Barth on his clean sweep in the Legends.  We believe that tonight was his 8th feature win of the season.  Eric is the points leader and also high up in the Legend National Points.

Come back soon to see where everyone is racing next week.  We are not sure if Tim will be at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam or Shawano next Saturday.  Bob Mann will probably race Oshkosh on Tuesday.  Pete and Mike are planning on racing at Darlington next Friday night.  Steve is considering racing at the Dodge County Fairgrounds next Saturday night.

Update: August 17, 2004 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Bob Mann raced his mod at with outstanding results!  Bob was 3rd in the feature.  Great job Bob!

Update: August 14, 2004 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

The entire Xracing Team raced at Powercom tonight.  Tim was involved in an accident early in the Late Model feature.  He was unable to make repairs to the car and finished 17th.  In the modifieds, Steve, Pete and Bob transferred from their heats to the feature.  Steve won his heat race!  Good job Steve!  Mike spun out in his heat race and was not able to get into the feature from the B-main.  In the modified feature, Bob had the best finish - around 14th.  Steve finished somewhere around 16th and Peter around 18th.

Tim's next race will be August 21 at Shawano.  Pete, Bob, Mike and Steve will be racing at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam next Saturday, August 21.

Thank you Bob Cruse of BC Photos for use of the picture!

Update: August 11, 2004 Thunderhill Speedway, Sturgeon Bay, WI

We have not talked to Tim, but a posting on the Racing Online forum page has Tim listed as 3rd in the first WDLMA feature.  A broken coil kept Tim from competing in the second feature.  According to the posting, 20 late models put on an excellent show.

Update: August 10, 2004 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh

Bob and Pete were not able to get their cars in the feature.  Around 60 modifieds were there for the special.  Jon Schultz  won the Dirt Devil feature.

Update: August 7, 2004 Shawano, Powercom Park, Beaver Dam

Tim was able to survive a big crash in the feature with cosmetic damage that was quickly fixed by his pit crew.  Tim was able to rejoin the race and make his way through the pack to finish 3rd.  Great job Tim and Great job to the pit crew.

Bob Mann had another good night Saturday.  He qualified for the A-main feature through his heat race.  Bob finished 10th!  Pete came up one short of getting into the A-main in each his heat race and the B-main.  Mike finished toward the back of the pack in his heat and B-main.  Steve spun out in his heat racing trying to pass the 1st place car early in his heat race and finished last.  In his B-main Steve move up a few positions, but did not qualify for the A-main.  Next race for Tim is at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, WI on Wednesday night (WDLMA Double Feature special).  Bob, Pete and Steve are planning on running the special at Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh this Tuesday night.

Congratulations to Jon Schultz on his 4th feature win in the Dirt Devil Division!  Jon is second in points just 4 points out of first!

Update: August 3, 2004 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

It was the worst kind of rain out!  We got the heat races in, but then it started to rain before the B-mains.  That means no money for anyone.  Bob, Pete and Tim finishes in their respective heats would have put them directly in their features.  Steve was going to have to run the B-main.

Next Race:  Tim will race at Shawano this Saturday night.  Bob, Pete, Mike and Steve will be racing their modifieds at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam this Saturday.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: July 31, 2004 Shawano and Powercom Park, Beaver Dam

Tim finished 6th in the feature at Shawano.  Tim's next race is Tuesday at Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh.

Bob Mann has a great night at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Bob wins his heat race and leads the feature for the first 10 laps.  Bob finished 6th in the feature.  Great run Bob!

Pete had to try to get through a traffic jam in his heat race, but always seemed to pick the slower line of cars.  Pete got it together for the B-main and finished 2nd which put him in the feature.  After being involved in a first lap wreck, Pete was able to get back on the track before the race restarted and worked his way up to finish 10th.

Mike finished 7th in his heat race and was in the first B-main.  We are  not sure where he finished.

Steve started on the pole in his heat race, but fell back to 4th before spinning out.  He finished 6th in his heat race.  Steve started 2nd row outside in the 2nd B-main.  Steve was gaining on the 3rd place car when he was involved in an accident and had to restart in the rear.  We think we finished somewhere around 6th.

Next race:  Bob, Steve and Pete will probably go to Oshkosh on Tuesday.

Update: July 24, 2004 Shawano and Powercom Park, Beaver Dam

Tim finished somewhere around 9th in the feature.  Early on Tim lost some spots, but one he went to the cushion, he pick a few more back.  Tim's next race will be a Shawano next Saturday night.  Tim will also be racing his late model at Powercom Speed Zone on Tuesday, August 3.

Bob did the best among the Xracing modifieds.  Bob had a second in his heat and started on the outside pole for the feature.  Bob lead the first two lap before a few cars got around him.  We believe Bob finished 11th in the feature.  Pete was involved in an accident in his heat race and had to run one of the B-mains.  In his B-main, Pete moved up to 3rd place before he broke the steering box.  Mike finished 5th in his B-main after spinning out in his heat race.  Steve finished 7th in his heat race and had to race the B-main.  Steve tried the high line, but was not able to pass many cars and finished 4th in his B-main.  The next race for the whole Xracing mod drivers is next Saturday at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Bob will probably race at Oshkosh this coming Tuesday, July 27th.

Jon Schultz of Belleville raced from his fifth row starting position and took over the lead on lap three of the 20-lap Wally’s Auto Dirt Devil A-Main. Schultz pulled away from the rest of the field on his way to his third win of the season.  Great run Jon!

We would like to wish Kathy & Steve Boelter a Happy 19th Wedding Anniversary!

Update: July 20, 2004 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Congratulations to Bob Mann on his heat win and 10th place finish at the Speed Zone!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Update: July 18, 2004

Tim put a a show in his 7X late model.  After starting the feature either 5th or 6th row inside, Tim moved through traffic picking off at least a car a lap.  Early in the race, Tim primarily used the high line (within inches of the outside wall) to gain positions.  Tim moved up to about 4th place before hitting the wall in between turn 1 and 2.  A fast pit stop by Bill and Jerry to remove a damaged right front quarter panel got Tim back out on the track on the lead lap.  A yellow flag them let Tim catch up to the back of the back, about 18th on the track.  We heard people in the pit stands say Tim passed 5 cars the first green flag lap.  Actually, it was 2 or 3 cars.  Tim was on a mission to get to the front.  He quickly moved up to the 10th position.  A couple of well timed (for Tim) yellow flags bunched up the field.  Although the car did not handle as well as before he hit the wall, Tim continued to use both the high and low line to pass cars.  Tim finished either 5th or 6th.  Tim was 1st as far as being the most exciting car to watch.  Great job recovering from adversity!  It is hard to believe that this is only Tim's first year in a dirt late model.  Also, we are sure Tim would like to thank all the people who came out to watch him and thank his pit outstanding pit crew of Bill Piechowski and Gerry Lemirande.

Tim's next expected run at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam is Saturday, August 14.

The Xracing modified drivers had a tough night over all.  Pete Laubmeier got a flat tire while moving to the front of the field in his B-main.  Pete's crew changed the tire, but he was several laps down.  Mike Meeker started up front in his B-main and stayed there for several lap before falling back in the pack.  Bob Mann had a good run going in his B-main, running in the last transfer spot for most of the race before a scoring error and a bump in the corner from another car put his back a couple of positions.  Bob finished 4th, one spot out of transferring for the feature.  Steve tried to learn how to use the high line to get around the track in his B-main.  Steve finished somewhere around 6th in his B-main.

Tim's next race is next Saturday night at Shawano.  Bob and maybe Steve will race their mods in Oshkosh this Tuesday.  Pete, Mike, Bob and Steve will be at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam next Saturday.

 Update: July 11, 2004

Tim wins his heat race at Luxemburg.  He started 12th in the feature and moved his way up to 6th before hitting a tire on the inside of the track.  After that he fell back and finished toward the back.

Tim's next race will be Saturday at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

Update: July 10, 2004

Tim said they did not get to run or complete the Late Model Feature in Shawano because of an accident that put a hole in the guard rail that could not be fixed with in the time limit.  We think Tim may be credited with 10th in the feature, but we are not sure of that.

Bob and Pete made the feature finishing some where around 14th and 16th respectively.  Bob made it in from his heat race.  Pete had to run the B-main to get in because of brake problems in his heat race.  Mike Meeker started the second B-main on the outside pole and stayed up at the front for several laps before falling back.  Steve was involved in an accident in his heat race.  In the B-main, Steve went in to the infield to avoid a first lap wreck.  Unfortunately the rim must of got bent from a rock and the tire went flat.  Jim Krahn and Bob changed the tire for Steve but he was down 4 laps when he got back on the track.

Tim's next race is Sunday, July 11 in Luxemburg.  Bob and maybe Pete are planning on going to Oshkosh Tuesday night.  Bob, Pete, Mike and Steve will be back at Powercom Park next Saturday.

Update: July 3, 2004

The races at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam were called off because of rain.  We have not heard from Tim, but it appears to be raining in Shawano too!

Update: June 26, 2004 Powercom Park Beaver Dam, WI

Tim started on the pole for the Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association (WDLMA) race at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Tim had a good start leading the race from start to finish although he was challenged early by the #74 Scheffler car and later by the orange 95 car.  There was great racing throughout the pack.  The last lap was especially exciting when the 95 car tried a big slide job on Tim in the 4th corner.  The 95 car got up in the marbles and Tim cut down underneath for a drag race to the finish and the win.  Great job Tim!  Tim is two for two in the WDLMA races.

Thank you Bob Cruse of BC Photos!

It was a tough night for the modifieds.  On a very dry slick and dusty track, Pete Laubmeier was the only one of our group to make the feature.  Pete was involved in a wreck when the car in front of him blew his motor.  Pete spun out in the oil and water and hit the other car hard.  Steve had a good run going in his B-main until a car spun in front of him and Steve spun trying to miss him but him hard bending the panhard bar.

Next race: Tim - July 3rd at Shawano.  Pete, Bob, Steve and Mike at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

Update: June 22, 2004 Powercom Park Beaver Dam Modified Special

Over 80 modifieds checked into the pits for this special.  I was a Wisconsin Who's Who of IMCA type modified racers.  The regular modified drivers showed the special guests (Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne and Badger Midget Champion Davie Ray) how it was done.  Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne needed promoters options to make the big show and they finished near the back of the field.  The race started with our friend Pete Laubmeier on the pole position.  Congratulation to Pete on winning his heat race to make the big show!  In the A-main, Pete held his own for several laps against Wisconsin's best.  Unfortunately, the handle went away on his car and he finished around 15th.  Tim Lemirande driving his championship mod from last year finished 4th in his heat and had to work his way through a talented B-main field to transfer to the A-main.  Tim started 15th in the feature and was stuck in heavy traffic early.  Tim made a move to the front by passing some of the best mod drivers in the state including both Mullens, Dart and Weddlestadt.  Tim worked his way into 3rd place in the feature with sparks flying as the right rear corner of the car was against the wall.  Unfortunately the race was shortened to 30 laps instead of the planned 40 laps because of the curfew.   The race winner was Jay Schraufnagel.  Congratulates to Jay.  Many of us (biased) Tim Lemirande fans believe he was the fastest car late in the race and that he might have been able to give Jay some competition.

Thanks to all the crew help we had tonight:  Rich Sailing, Jerry Lemirande, Bill Piechowski, Jon Schultz, Phil Lehl, Scott Schanke, Mike Meeker and Mark Malm.  I'm sorry if I missed anyone.  You should have seen the pit crew ballet as everyone pitched in to get Tim ready for the feature after transferring from the B-main.

Next Race:  Tim with the late model at Powercom Park this Saturday, June 26.  Pete, Bob, Mike and Steve also at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Along with about 50 other modified drivers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Special Notice: Tim Lemirande, the 2003 Modified Track Champion at Powercom Park and Oshkosh's Speed Zone will be back behind the wheel of a modified for the "Tony Stewart - Night at the Races" featuring Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne.  The race will be at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, June 22.  For more information see: http://www.wismotorsports.net/Stewart%20Night.htm .  They are expecting as many as 84 modifieds for this race.  The race's main sponsor is Prestige Custom Cabinetry, Inc. http://www.prestigecab.com/index.psp

Update: June 19, 2004

Tim finishes 10th in the feature at Shawano.  Pete Laubmeier made the A-Main at Powercom Park, but was involved in an accident and finished around 18th.  Steve was taken out in the first corner of the first lap of his heat race and was not able to get it fixed for the B-main.  Bob Mann also had damage to his car and finished out of the transfer spots in the B-main.  Mike Meeker also finished out of the transfer spots in the B-main.

Steve would like to thank the crews from other teams that came over to see if they could help.

Next Race:  Tuesday, June 22 at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam for the Tony Stewart Special.  (See above.)

Update: June 12, 2004

Tim finishes 3rd in his heat and 3rd in the feature at Shawano, which matches his best finish at Shawano.  The WDLA race scheduled for Manitowoc was canceled due to wet grounds.  Tim is planning on running the WDLA race on Sunday, June 13 if the weather cooperates.  The forecast is for a 50% chance of storms.  Of the 5 races scheduled to be run, 4 have been rain out.

Update: June 11, 2004

The WDLA race scheduled for tonight has been postponed.  It will be reschedule for a future date.  Tim will be racing at Shawano tomorrow.  Powercom Park in Beaver Dam is hosting the World of Outlaw show tomorrow.  Steve, Pete and Bob will not be racing this Saturday.

Update: June 5, 2004

Powercom - Beaver Dam: 51 modifieds were there.  Pete Laubmeier did the best of the group with a finish of 15th in the feature.  Bob Mann finished 7th and Steve finished 9th in the first B-main.  18 Cars started this B-main.  Mike Meeker finished 12th in his B-main.

Jon Schultz finished 2nd in the Dirt Devil feature.  Two and three wide racing made it hard to pass.  Once Jon cleared traffic, he was reeling in the leader.  The feature was shortened due to curfew.  Jon leads the points in the Dirt Devil division.

Shawano:  Rain moved in before the feature could be run.

Update: May 31, 2004

The Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association race at Powercom Park has been postponed due to wet grounds.  According to the association's website (http://www.widirtlm.com), the race will be rescheduled.  Next race for Tim is at Shawano next Saturday.  Steve, Pete, Bob and Mike are planning on racing at Powercom Park next week.

The early forecast for next Saturday are for scattered showers for both Shawano and Beaver Dam.

Update: May 29, 2004

Rain cause the cancellation of races at both Powercom Park in Beaver Dam and Shawano Speedway.  The next race for Tim is (weather permitting) Monday, May 31 at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam ( A Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association race  http://www.widirtlm.com )  Races start at 4 PM.

Update: May 22, 2004 1:21 PM

Rain has forced cancellation of the races for today at both Beaver Dam and Shawano.  Powercom Park in Beaver Dam's schedule included a USMTS modified special for Saturday, May 22 and Sunday May 23.  Both nights of racing at Powercom Park have been cancelled.  For more information about cancellations, go to http://www.racingonline.com then go to the forums area.  There is a section for rainout information.

Next races:  Shawano on May 29th for Tim and Powercom Park in Beaver Dam on May 29th for Steve and Pete.

Update: May 18, 2004 - Oshkosh, WI

Thank you Dave Buss for the use of the Picture!

Tim Lemirande will go down as the first ever feature winner of the new Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association!  31 Late Model cars were on hand for this inaugural event.  We all expected Tim to do well this in this his rookie season, but I think people will be surprised that he won in only his 4th race of the season.  http://www.widirtlm.com   Tim's next race is Saturday, May 22 at Shawano.

Pete Laubmeier also raced at Oshkosh.  He started last in his heat and finished 6th.  He also finished 6th in the B-main.

Update: May 15, 2004 - Shawano, WI

Entering a stretch of 3 races in 7 nights, Tim started it off right with a 3rd place finish in the feature at Shawano.  That is his best Dirt Late Model finish of his career!  Tim is looking forward to races at Oshkosh on Tuesday, May 18th and  Shawano on Saturday, May 22nd.  Tim is the 2003 Oshkosh track champion in the modified division.  Oshkosh will mark the first race of the new Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Racing Association.  Their web site is: http://www.widirtlm.com .

Update: May 15, 2004 - Beaver Dam, WI

It was a night with a lot of accidents in many of the divisions.  Pete, Bob and Steve had to try to make the features from the B-main.  Pete was leading the first B-main when a yellow came out with two laps to go.  It looked like Pete had a flat left rear tire, so he was sent to the pits.  The tire was not flat, but it took Pete out of the transfer spot to make the feature.  Steve was the beneficiary of Pete's misfortune and finished in second, the last transfer position.  Bob also finished 2nd in his B-main and transferred to the feature.  Bob and Steve started in the last two spot in a feature that saw many yellow flags and one red flag.  Bob either finished 12th or 13th in a final corner battle with Steve.  Good job Bob and Steve!

Jon Shultz powered by the competition to take the feature win in the Dirt Devil division.  Great job Jon!

Update: May 8, 2004 - 12:44PM

The races at both Powercom Park in Beaver Dam and the Shawano Speedway have been canceled for tonight.

Happy Mother's Day!

Update: May 1, 2004

Shawano:  Tim had a bad heat race and therefore had to start toward the back of the feature (around 16th).  Tim worked his way up to 10th when he spun out trying to miss a body panel that flew off another car.  Tim was sent to the back of the pack and was not able to move up.

Powercom Park - Beaver Dam, WI:  Pete Laubmeier had the best run of his career, finishing 4th in the feature.  During the race Pete was right on the tail of the first two cars.  Great job Pete!  Bob Mann is new to mods this year.  Bob finished 4th in the first B-Main.  Steve had a tough night trying to figure out the track.  He finished 6th in the second B-Main.  Jon Schultz won his heat in the Dirt Devil Division, but was the meat in the sandwich early in his feature.  Another car hit Jon in the right front corner panel causing Jon's right front tire to blow out.  Jon did make it back out.  I'm not sure where he finished.  Mike Meeker (sorry about the spelling) was a crew member on Pete's team last year.  He bought a mod over the winter and tonight was his first race.  Unfortunately, he got high up on the track and hit the wall and a fence support hard during the first B-Main.  Mike was check out by the ambulance and was ok.  (Bumps and burses)  The car sustained heavy front end damage.

Update April 28, 2004

This is a picture of Pete Laubmeier's car for the 2004 season!

Pete's sponsors for the year are TD SIGN & GRAPHICS, Wilson Creek Excavating & Concrete, KPR, M&S Fabrication, GE Construction.   Pete's pit help for the year will be Daren Dresen and Mark Malm.  Pete will be racing at PowerCom Park in Beaver Dam full time and at The Speed Zone in Oshkosh when time and money allow.

We just found out that Pete added Midtowne Construction as a sponsor.  Midtowne's owners, Cory & Lynn Ballweg, are big race fans!

Thank you to all of Pete's sponsors!

Pete had an outstanding rookie year.  Based on last years success expect to see Pete in the top 10 of the feature a lot this year!

Update: April 24, 2004

This picture was taken during the late model feature at Shawano.  Tim finished 12th in the feature.

Tim's car did not handle well during his heat race and he finished near the back of the pack.  The car ran better in the feature, but Tim had to spin the car two different time during the feature to miss wrecks.  Each time Tim had to start at the back of the pack.  Tim moved past several cars to make it up to 12 place.

Tim's next race will be next Saturday night, May 1st at Shawano.  Steve, Bob Mann, Pete Laubmeier and Jon Schultz will be starting their season at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam next Saturday, May 1.

Update April 17, 2004

It looks like Tim finished 12th in his first Late Model feature at Shawano.  18 cars started the feature.  Congratulations on your first of many late model runs this year!

We talked with Tim about the race.  He crashed in his heat race, damaging the right front suspension.  Tim started last in the feature and was able to pass some cars to get up to 12th.

Our friend, Bob Mann ran his first Mod race last night at the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway.  Unfortunately, he blew up his motor.

Later this weeks we will update practice at Powercom Park for Pete, Bob and Jon!

Check back often

Update: March 7, 2004

Everyone is working on their cars to get them ready for the upcoming season.  Tim will be racing primarily at Shawano.  (See below for more of Tim's plans.)  Steve will be racing mainly at Powercom Park along with Pete Laubmeier
and Bob Mann.  Bob is moving up from the stock car class to the mods for this year.  Bob is the owner of M&S Fabrication.  We have been very pleased with Bob's work on making our body panels (both modified car and dirt late model).  Please check back often as we hope to put up some more pictures of the cars.

Also, thank you for your support of this page.  We have continued to increase the number of people visiting this site.  Thank you!

February 20, 2004 - Tim's trip to Florida:

Last week went pretty good down in Florida. Basically we started out and had overheating problems the first two nights. We had a head gasket go bad on us Tuesday night. We replaced both head gaskets Wednesday during the day and still had overheating problems on Wednesday night. We ended up buying a lot larger radiator and a steel fan driven off the water pump, where we were running an electric fan. That seemed to do the trick and didn't see any overheating problems the rest of the week. We got some good seat time in and made a lot of changes to the car. The car was very reactive to any changes. As far as driving the car, everything is so much quicker, and faster. There is so much forward bite, and side bite you have to have the handling down pretty good or the car darts all around on the track.

All in all, we had a great trip, weather was warm, and we got some very valuable seat time along with getting a lot of bugs out of the car. We were a lot undermotored, but we knew that going down.

We were the only cars there with a cast iron motor, but we were definitely not the slowest car. The last night we ran, we finished 6th in the b-main. We got rained out on Saturday night so we left early.

Luckily, we left when we did, because Tennessee and Kentucky got about 10" of snow after we got through there and they closed the highways down.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

January 10, 2004:  Tim Lemirande will be racing a Dirt Late Model (see pictures below) during the 2004 season.  Tim's first run will be in Florida in mid February.  Tim want to get some time behind the wheel before he starts his season at Shawano on April 10th in the WISSOTA Late Model division.  Click on this link to see the Shawano schedule.  If you can not get up north to see Tim race, you will have a chance to see him run at Powercom Park on Monday May 31st.  (Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association)  Tim also plans on running two races at the Speed Zone in Oshkosh.  Those dates are Tuesday, May 18th and Tuesday, August 3rd.  Tim know the Powercom Park and Speed Zone tracks very well.  He won the modified division championship at each track last year.

The main sponsor of the car is Badger Truck & Auto in Green Bay & Oshkosh.  Associate sponsors are: Victory Vinyl in Suamico, M&S Fabrication, LLC in Juneau and Boelter Consulting, LLC in Madison.

We wish for Tim a fast learning curve and some runs up to the front during the 2004 season!!!

Come back here often to check on Tim's progress.

2003 Season

Update: September 26, 27, 28, 2003

Mother Nature won at the Chilton Special.  Friday night's racing was rained out.  On Saturday a few of the heat were run.  Sunday morning the racing started at 10 AM.  Tim won his heat race.  The modified and 4 cylinder features could not be completed because of more rain.

Update: September 20, 2003

Steve is trying to get in some extra racing this weekend.  On Friday night Steve and Pete ran the modifieds at Lafayette County Speedway in Darlington, WI.  Steve finished 6th in his heat and 11th in the feature.  Pete finished 3rd in his heat and 13th in the feature.  Steve would like to thank Pete, Mike and Rachael for helping him with his car.

On Saturday, Steve and Jon Schultz went up to Powercom Park to race in the 4 cylinder special.  Jon won his heat but broke a hub in the DOHC feature.  Steve started 7th in his heat and finished somewhere around 12 in the feature.  Steve would like to thank Jon for letting him run his Escort.

Update: September 6, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim won the points championship in the modified division at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam Saturday night.

It was a good thing he went into the night with a big enough points lead that all he need to do was start his heat race.  Tim blew up his motor in his heat race.  Tim started back in the pack in the B-main with the other car, but traffic was heavy.  Tim moved up into about 6th place and was involved in an accident that sent him to the pits for the rest of the night.

Steve ran into the white and blue 8 car in his heat race a was given the black flag.  (editorial comment by Steve:  I have been spun out three time this year in B-mains while holding a transfer position or battling for a transfer position and none of the cars that spun me out were black flagged.  I have also been run into several time and was told that "it was just racing".  I admit that I made a mistake, but being black flagged did not seem to be consistent with the calls that had been made all year.  Tim used the car Steve ran, so Steve did not get to race anymore tonight.

Our friend Pete Laubmeier (28x) had a great run going in the feature.  He led several laps before being passed.  A mid race slipup cost him several spots, but he kept battling and finished 7th (I think).  Great job Pete!  you have had an outstand last few weeks!  If they had a rookie of the year program, I think you would have won it!

Our friend Jon Schultz had another great night!  Jon finished 2nd in the feature.  Jon would have need a couple of more laps to get to first as he was quickly catching the leader.  Great year Jon!  Best of luck in the 4cylinder special at Powercom Park next week!  My money is on you!

Update: August 31, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim has a clean sweep winning both his heat race and the feature races.  Between Tim's win and the second place points driver's bad luck, Tim should have about a 33 to 35 point lead going into the last points race next Saturday.  If our calculations are correct, Tim will win the Powercom Park Modified Points Championship by taking the green flag in his heat race.

Steve finished 4th in his heat race and finished around 14th in the feature, just behind our friend Pete Laubmeier.  Steve and Pete had a nice race going the last 4 or 5 laps.

Our friend Jon Schultz looked unbeatable in his Dodge Neon.  Although I had to leave before his race was done, Jon was leading and no one looked like they could challenge him.

Update: August 26, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim is the 2003 Powercom Speed Zone Modified Division Track Champion!  Congratulations Tim!

Tim was 10 points ahead of the second place driver going into tonight's race.  Things would not be easy for Tim as he had to pit during his heat race to fix a flat tire and did not finishing in a transfer position.  Chris Engles, the second place driver also did not transfer from his heat.  Tim finished first and Chris second in their B-main to transfer to the feature.  Tim was able to move up to a 4th place finish in the feature despite a failing motor.

Update: August 23, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

It was a late night running with the IRA Sprint Cars and Badger Midgets.  Our feature ended around midnight with Tim finishing 3rd, Pete Laubmeier finishing a career best 6th and Steve finishing 10th.  The feature ended with the 4th through 11th place cars very close, with positions changing several times during the last lap.

_________________________________________

Update: August 19, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim finished 8th in the feature tonight after being sent to the rear in a racing incident involving Jay Schraufnagel.  Tim said:  "I would like to apologized to Jay Schraufnagel, his crew and fans.  I had a good run going into corner one and accidentally spun Jay out.  I hit the brakes as hard as I could, but could not avoid hitting Jay.  I like racing against Jay, he is a great driver and feel bad that this happened.  I hope Jay will accept my apology."

Steve finished third in his B-main, one position short of transferring to the feature.  After spinning on his own early in the B-main, there was a yellow flag that let Steve catch-up to the pack of cars.  Steve moved through traffic, including a pass splitting two cars coming out of turn four, but need a couple of more laps to try to get the second place car.

Congratulations to Pete Laubmeier!  Pete won his first modified race Tuesday night.  And it was an impressive win as Pete started in the rear of his B-main and worked his way through traffic to the front spot.  Even more impressive was that this was Pete's first race ever at the Oshkosh track.  If Powercom Park in Beaver Dam had a rookie of the year program, we think Pete would be leading it!  Great job Pete!

Our best guess is that Tim is leading the modified points at Oshkosh by 10 points over Chris Engles.  If that is correct, Tim can win the championship by finishing 10th or better in next Tuesday's season ending race.

Update: August 12, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

It's a bad night for Tim.  Tim suffered electrical problems in his heat.  The Tim, Jerry and Rich got it fixed for the B-main, but Tim had to start last.  Tim made it through traffic, but spun out on the last lap.  Our best guess is that Tim's point lead will shrink to about 13 points.

Steve finished 3rd in his B-main.  He had a good race with the 55K car for second.

Update: August 9, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

The last two season, Tim has won a lot of points races in August & September.  He is starting off this August the same way.  Tim won tonight's feature.  He started 10 and quickly moved to 4th.  The second and third place car raced side by side for several more laps before Tim could get by.  Tim went for the lead and got it and lead most of the last half of the race.

Steve was running 4th in the B-main when he was involved in an accident.  He finished somewhere around 7th in the B-main.

_________________________________________

Update: August 5, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim finishes 2nd in his heat and in the feature.  Tim was the fastest car in the feature.  Tim started the feature in 11th spot and was caught in traffic for several laps.  He started to pick cars off one at a time moving his way up to third and then second.  The leader had built a half of straightaway lead by the time Tim moved to second and it looked like Tim would not have a chance to catch the leader.  Tim was able to get to the bumper of the leader. but the laps ran out before Tim could make it to the top spot.  If there had been one more lap, Tim would have probably won.  I thought this was one of Tim's better runs of the season.  Great job Tim!

Update: August 2, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Mother Nature won at Powercom Park tonight.  Rain showers started about 5 PM and ended about 5:15.  The sun came out and racing started about 20 minutes late.  During one of the Dirt Devil heats, the rain started again.  The races were called somewhere around 8 PM.  We are not sure how the track is going to handle this.  Our guess it that they will call it a show.

Update: July 29, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim has handling problems and finishes back in the pack in the feature.  (Probably 18 or 19).  Tim will continue to lead the points.

Steve finished 3rd in the B-main.  Steve lost oil pressure as he took the checkered flag.

Update: July 26, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim won his heat race and finished 3rd in the feature behind Jay Schraufnagel (the winner) and second place Jason Enoch.  Dan Miller finished 4th making the finishing order by car number 10s, 5E, 5X and 05.

Steve had a good run going in the B-main.  Steve was challenging another car for the transfer spot with two laps left when the car behind him spun Steve out in corner two.  Steve finished 5th in the B-main.

Our friend Pete Laubmeier had a great night finishing second in his heat race and somewhere around 10th in the feature.

Update: July 22, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

A long Sunday and Monday of fixing Tim's car after his crash last Saturday pays off with a feature win!  Tim would like to thank Rich Sailing and Steve Boelter for their help in getting the car back together!

Update: July 19, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

It was a tough night for Tim as he was involved in a wreck early in the feature.  Tim had to come to the pits to have a bumper put on the car.  He lost a couple of laps in the process.  Our best guess is that Tim finished around 12th, but he could have been as high as 10th and as low as 14th.  There is a lot of work to do on the car to get it ready for Oshkosh this Tuesday.

Steve finished around 7th in the B Main.

Update: July 15, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim finished 2nd in the feature.  Steve finished 5th in the B Main.

Update: July 12, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim was looking forward to another good night at Powercom Park.  Things started out looking good as Tim finished second his heat race.  Tim started the feature 12th and was on the move when he brushed the wall with the right side of his car.  Tim continued to move forward until he spun out between corners 3 and 4.  Tim had to restart at the rear.  He passed cars and make it up to 5th place by the end of the race.  The first and second place cars of Mike Sandholm and Jay Schraufnagel transferred to the feature after winning their B feature races.

Steve finished 5th in his heat race.  In the B feature, Steve was involved in an accident and finished somewhere around 8th.

Update: July 8, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

A special thanks goes out to Jay Schraufnagel,  the Xracing pit crew of Rich Sailing, and Bill Piechowski, our friend Pete Laubmeier's crew - Mike Meeker, Mark Malm and Pete and the people from the Powercom Speed Zone track for letting Tim use the garage area and welder.  Tim was involved in a bad crash in his heat race.  Tim T-boned another car and was forced into the wall.  There was extensive damage to Tim's 5x race car.  The crew with assistance from others was able to fix the car for the semi feature (Jay lent Tim a spindle and rotor.).  Tim transferred from the semi into the feature.  Jay had built a big lead and Tim had moved through the pack of cars to get up to second place.  Toward the end of the race, Jay blew a transmission and Tim got the win.  Everyone in the region knows that Jay is an outstanding driver.  We also want everyone to know what kind of guy Jay is too!

Update: July 5, 2003 Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim makes it a clean sweep by winning his heat race and the feature.  Tim started 8th in his heat race and quickly moved to the front.  He won by about a quarter of a lap.

Steve raced the other 5x car to an eight place finish in the B main.

Update: July 4, 2003 Luxemburg Speedway, Luxemburg, WI

Tim has a bad night.  Tim drew bad starting position in his heat race and did not transfer to the feature.  I was the first time in a long time since Tim did not make a feature.

Update: June 29, 2003 - Seymour Tri Oval, Seymour, WI

It was a bad night with a lot of broken parts for both Tim and Steve.  Steve bent the rear end of the car.  Tim broke a rim, a tire, a bumper and spindle.  Steve finished near last in the consolation race.  Tim finished second in his heat and about 16th in the feature.  Tim was moving his way to the front when he spun out.  He came into the pits to change a tire and had to restart last.  Tim moved his way up to 9th, but on the last lap the car in front of him broke and Tim hit him and spun out.

Update: June 21, 2003 - Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim comes back in style after three straight races with mechanical problems to win the modified feature.  Tim started 10th in the feature and quickly moved up to fifth place.  Tim worked his way car by car up to first by around lap 10.  Tim was able to stay out front and complete the sweep (Heat Race and Feature wins)

Update: June 17, 2003 - Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh, WI

Tim's steering box locked up in the feature.  With fast work from the pit crew, Tim was able to get back out and finish 13th in the feature.

Update:  June 14, 2003 - Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim had his second did not finish (DNF) in two weeks.  While moving forward from his 13th starting place in the feature, Tim spun out.  We believe that he blew the head gasket and got water on the tires.  Tim finished somewhere around 19th in the feature.  Tim may have kept the points lead.  Worst case, Tim will be in second a few points behind the 67h car.

Steve was led his heat race for several laps until the 77w car ran over Steve's front end.  Steve finished 5th in the heat race.  Steve started on the outside pole for the B-main.  The 93z car hit Steve in the drivers side several times coming down the front stretch for the start.  The last hit caused Steve's upper A arm to break.  Several cars ran into Steve's car as it sat in turn one.  This was another scary crash for Steve.  The rule requiring metal plating in the driver's side door saved Steve from what could have been serious injuries.  Thanks IMCA for putting that rule in the rule book a few years ago!  Damage to the car includes broken shock, broken upper A arm, brake line and fitting, one wheel and tire and a lot of body damage.

Update: June 7, 2003 - Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim has a bad night.  The panhard bar broke during the feature forcing Tim out of the race.  Tim finished somewhere between 16 and 20.  Even with the bad finish, Tim will retain the points lead.

Steve transferred into the feature from his heat race.  He started 14th right behind Tim in the feature.  Our best guess is that he finished in around 14th place.

Our friend Jon Schultz won the his heat race and won the feature race in the Dirt Devil division.  Congratulations Jon - great run!

Our friend Pete took the week off.

Update: May 31, 2003 Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, WI

Tim finishes 4th in the feature.  The track was dry slick for the first time this season as 38 modifieds raced it out for top honors.  Many top drivers and cars were there because some of the other tracks did not race.

Tim started 12th and quickly moved up to about 6th position.  The track had only one racing grove and passing was difficult.  Tim raced in a large group of cars that were slugging it our for 3rd place.  Laps ran out as Tim got up to 4th place.  The first five in the feature were: Jay Schraufnagel, Brian Mullen, Dennis Haldemann, Tim Lemirande & Andy Voigt.

Steve was involved in a first lap accident in his heat race.  Quick work by Bill and Tim got Steve back on the track for the restart.  He finished 6th.  In the B-main Steve was in second for several laps.  While in third position, Steve was hit by another car in the rear bumper and almost spun out.  Steve finished 6th in the B-main.

Our friend, Pete Laubmeier, also had a tough night.  He was involved in an early accident in his heat race.  We are not sure of where Pete finished in his B-main

Tim finished 9th in the feature.  .

Updated 5/24/2003 - Powercom Park - Beaver Dam, WI

Tim spun out in his heat race and had to go through the B-main.  After starting 7th in the B-main, Tim quickly moved to the front to take the victory.  Tim started 16th in the feature and moved into tenth within the first couple of laps.  Tim would not be denied in his quest to get to the front.  Tim pulled away from the field to score his second feature win in three tries at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Great job Tim!

As far a Steve's efforts ....  Steve finished 5th in his heat, but was assessed a two position penalty for passing cars before getting to the cone.  Steve sun out twice in the B-main and finished last.

Our friend, Pete Laubmeier transferred from his heat race to the feature.  Pete ran a great race finishing 10th or 11th.  Pete is running so good, it is hard to believe it is only his third night racing modifieds (or any type of car).  Congratulations Pete!

Update 5/20/2003

Tim finishes 3rd in the feature at the SpeedZone in Oshkosh, WI.

Update 5/18/2003

It was a very competitive field of 43 modifieds at Powercom Park on Saturday.  Tim transferred to the feature race by finishing 3rd in his heat race.  Steve finished 6th in his heat race.  Steve started 3rd in the first B-main on a track with lots of ruts.  Steve pulled into the lead only to be spun out by another car and had to restart in the rear of the field.  He finished 5th.  Tim started12th in the feature and quickly moved up into third place.  Tim later moved into 1st place by passing Lee Tibbitts and Mike Sandholm.  Sandholm got back around Tim and they raced very close for many laps.  After a yellow flag, Jay Schraufnagel passed both Tim and Mike Sandholm to take the win.  Tim finished 3rd and fell to second in the point standings.  One point behind Schraufnagel.

Update May 4, 2003

Tim gets a clean sweep, taking both the heat race and feature win.  Unfortunately, Tim blew his motor up.  Steve finished fourth in his heat and approximately 16th in the feature.  It was a good run for Steve (especially in the heat race) as this was his first race since July 27, 2002.

Happy Valentines Day!

Thank you to all of you who have been checking the site.  I had lost and theme file and could not update the website until I found it.

Update November 17, 2002:

After a lot of hard work, we were able to get unanimous approval from the Dane County Board of Supervisors for a zoning amendment that will allow us to have to race cars and spare parts in Tim's shop!  A special thank you to Dave Ripp our county supervisor!

Update September 21, 2002:

Tim, Lynne and friend are probably still celebrating Tim's clean sweep at Powercom Park as I write this.  A field of 38 modified battled the rain which made for a tacky but rutty track.  Tim won his heat race, the night's feature and the points championship in the modified division.  This was Tim's third feature win in a row at Powercom Park!  Congratulations Tim on a job well done!  The hard work has paid off.  A special thanks to crew members Bill Piechowski, Rich Sailing and Gerry Lemirande who made it to almost every race this year!

Update September 14, 2002:  Rain spoils the racing for the evening :(

The points race will come down to next weekends race.  Powercom Park usually starts 20 cars for the modified feature.  If that is the case next week, if Tim makes the feature, he will win the point championship for the modified division at Powercom Park.  We believe that Tim has already won the combined (Powercom Speed Zone - Oshkosh & Powercom Park - Beaver Dam) points championship!   Congratulations Tim and good luck next week!

Special Update September 7, 2002:  Congratulations to Brian Mullen on his 2nd place finish at the IMCA Super Nationals in Boone, IA.  We have had the pleasure of racing with Brian at many tracks throughout Wisconsin.  He is a class act and we are very happy for him.  We hope to see him back at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam next Saturday night.

Update September 7, 2002:  Tim gets the clean sweep at Powercom Park!  Tim won his heat race.  Tim started 10th in the feature.  He carefully moved through traffic to get into the lead about 1/2 way through the race,  Despite brake problems, After a couple of laps running three wide, Tim was able to pull away from the field of cars to take the win.  Dan Miller finished 3rd, so Tim's points lead should go to 22 with two points nights remaining.  Great job Tim!

Update September 6, 2002:  Dale finishes 4th in the feature at Luxemburg!  Good job Dale!

Update August 31, 2002:    Tim wins the feature and moves ahead to a 20 point lead for the championship.  Tim had the fastest car Saturday and quickly moved through traffic to take the lead.  Dam Miller, second in points was involved in an accident and finished 19th.  Brian Mullen survived a hard crash in the mod feature.  His car flipped on the roof.  Brian was OK, but his car will take a lot of work to get ready for the IMCA Nationals in Boone this week.  Good Luck to all those who are going to Boone!

Update August 27, 2002:    Tim finishes third in the feature and end the year at Oshkosh Speedzone in second place in the modified class championship.  Congratulations Tim!  Great Season!

Update: August  24, 2002:  Powercom Park Beaver Dam:  Tim finishes 2nd in the feature after finishing 2nd in his heat race.  There was a field of 43 modifieds on hand including cars from Wilmot and the Door County Speedway.    Tim's second place finish combined with Dan Miller's 4th place finish should put Tim into the points lead by 2 points.

Dale won his heat race and finished somewhere around 8th in the feature.

Update: August  20, 2002:  Powercom Speed Zone: Tim starts 6th in the feature after winning his heat race.  Tim works his way through the pack to the lead early in the race.  With several yellow flags, the field is bunched up, but Tim runs an excellent line on the bottom of the track and wins it.  That's two in a row at Oshkosh for Tim.  Way to go Tim!  Dale has motor problems in his heat race and retires for the night.

Next race:  Powercom Park Beaver Dam this Saturday.

Update: August  17, 2002:  Powercom Park Beaver Dam:  Tim finishes some where around 14th in the feature.  There was a field of 35 modifieds on hand including cars from Wilmot and the Dodge County Fairgrounds.   Tim won his heat race and started around 8th in the feature.  Tim moved up fast after several other cars were involved in a first lap crash.  It looked like Tim would be able to pull into the lead by lap 3 or 4.  Unfortunately, Tim got a flat right rear tire and had to pit under the green flag.  Tim got out and picked up several spots.   We think Tim is in the points lead as Dan Miller was involved in the first lap wreck.

Update: August  13, 2002:  Powercom Speed Zone: Rained out :(.

Update: August  10, 2002:  Luxemburg Speedway:  Dale finishes 6th in the feature.

Update: August  6, 2002:  Oshkosh Speed Zone:  Tim gets a flat tire in the feature.  The Xracing Crew replaces the tire under yellow.  Tim has to start in the back of all the cars.  Tim passes everyone for the feature win.  Dale drives the 15x car to an 8th place finish in the feature.  Way to go Tim!  Tim and Dale have had several top finishes lately.  Tim has won two of the last four races (between Oshkosh Speed Zone and Powercom Park).  Keep up the great work Tim and Dale!

 ________________________

Update: August 2, 2002: Powercom Park Beaver Dam.   Dale finishes 3rd in the feature.  Tim wins the B-main and finishes 7th in the feature.  Bill Piechowski races the 15x car to an 8th place finish in the B-main.  Tim loses 1 point in the modified track championship race to Dan Miller in the 05 car.  Tim is 5 points out of first place with 6 nights of racing to go.

Update: July 30, 2002:  Oshkosh Speed Zone:  Tim is involved in a early race incident had to restart in the rear and worked his way through the pack to finish 3rd.

Update: July 27, 2002: Powercom Park Beaver Dam.  Congratulations to Tim on his victory in a crash filled feature.  Tim started back in the back as he had to run the B-main because of mechanical problems.  The crew did a great job it getting Tim's car out there racing in the B and A main events.

Steve won his first race ever by winning his heat race.  Steve started 3rd and quickly got out front and stayed there.  Congratulations Steve.

Now for the bad new.  Steve was involved in a scary accident in the feature.  The 4Q car (for the second time this year) forced Steve into the front stretch wall.  Steve hit the wall very hard and his car flipped one or two time.  The car is totaled out, but thankfully, Steve will be ok.  After a trip to the Beaver Dam Emergency Room, Steve was release with bumps and burses over most of his body.

Editorial Comment:  How many times are the track officials going to let the 4Q car wreck people?  He has bumped, spun out and wrecked most everyone who races there.  Tonight's crash was very scary and could have been a lot worse.  (Although at least two cars were total, no one was seriously hurt.)

Steve would like to thank the Powercom Park safety people for the outstanding job they did in taking care of me after my wreck.  They were there right away and were extremely professional.  I would also like the thank the people in the ambulance for there hard work and professionalism.  The security and track staff was outstanding in letting my family know about my condition.  Great job one and all and thank you.

The people at the Beaver Dam hospital emergency room did a great job too.

Thank you for being there when Steve needed you!

Update: July 23, 2002:  Oshkosh Speed Zone: Dale moves through the pack to finish 4th in the feature.  Tim is involved in a mid race crash with significant damage to his car, but comes back to finish 11th.  Steve finishes 15th in the feature.

Update: July 20, 2002:  Powercom Park Beaver Dam: It's a good night for the Xracing Team.  Tim finishes 2nd , Dale finishes 7th and Steve finishes 12th in the feature.

Update: July 16, 2002:  Bill Piechowski wins the mechanics modified race at Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh.  Bill started on the pole and pulled away from the field for a relatively easy victory in the six lap race.  Congratulations Bill!  Great job!  Steve finishes second in the B-main and around 9th in the feature.  Tim had motor problems and dropped out of the feature finishing somewhere around 15th.  After having a very slick track for most of the season, the track was very tacky tonight.

Update: July 9, 2002:  Tim finishes  3rd in the feature and Steve finishes 14th in the feature at Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh.

Update: July 6, 2002:  The winners tonight was the Xracing Crew of Bill Piechowski, Rich Sailing and Gerry Lemirande!  Tim lost oil pressure in his motor during hot laps.  The crew replaced the engine as well as changed gear with time to spare to get Tim out for the B-main.  Tim finished 2nd in the B-main.  Tim started 17th in the feature and quickly moved his way through the pack.  Tim finished 3rd in the feature.  Steve finished 4th in his heat race which put him in the invert.  Steve started 10th in the feature and finished 14th.

Again, thank you Bill Piechowski, Rich Sailing and Gerry Lemirande for your hard work all year and especially tonight!

Update: July 2, 2002:  Tim finishes 3rd in the feature at the Powercom Speed Zone in Oshkosh.  Good job Tim!

Update: June 28 & June 29, 2002:  Tim and Steve ran the USMTS modified races at Powercom Park, Beaver Dam.  Friday night was not a very good night for either Tm or Steve.  Tim broke a steering box at the start of his heat race and crashed into the wall.  Tim and the crew were able to get it ready for the B-main, but Tim did not make it to a transfer spot.  Steve started last in his heat race and finished 6th.  Steve also did not transfer via the B-main.  On Saturday night, Steve blew his motor in his heat race ending his night.  Tim won his heat race, which allowed him to transfer directly to the A-main - feature race.  After starting 12th, Tim worked his way up to 8th place before spinning out in turn one.  Tim finished somewhere around 16th in the 24 car field.

__________________________________

Update: June 22, 2002:  In a extremely controversial call, the Powercom Park modified inspector parked Tim for the night for spinning his tires to get out of the pits.  Tim was spun out by another car in his heat race.  Tim came in the pits to get the tire changed and had a hard time turning the car to get it headed toward the entrance to the track.  This was a major disappointment to Tim and the rest of the team.   Also there is concern about a possible conflict of interest regarding a track official and one of the modified cars.

Dale and Steve continued racing.  Steve finished 4th in the B-main and 16th in the feature.  Dale qualified for the feature via his heat race.  Dale did an outstanding job starting 11th in the feature and finishing 4th.  Great job Dale!

__________________________________

Update: June 15, 2002:  Tim finishes second in the feature at Powercom Park for the second week in a row.  Lapped traffic had a major impact on the outcome of the feature.  Tim used slower traffic to get around Craig Priewe.  On the last lap, a group of lapped cars racing for position blocked the track.  Craig made it through the traffic to get to the checkered flag first!

Steve's night ended early with a hard crash into the back straightaway wall.  On the first lap, Ralph Schneider 4Q drove up into Steve on the exit of turn two and put him in the wall.  Steve's car was heavily damaged.  The track officials parked Ralph for the rest of the night.  Steve did not have any serious injuries.  Steve will be out of action for at least one week and maybe two while his car is being repaired.

Update:  June 11, 2002:  The race at Powercom Speed Zone is rained out. :(  That's two weeks in a row at Oshkosh.

Update:  June 8, 2001:  Tim Lemirande finishes 2nd at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.  Steve finishes 13th.  The track was very dry and slick all night long.  Steve started his heat outside front row and held on for 5th, the last transfer spot for the feature.  Tim started toward the back of his heat and won it.  Tim's heat race was really fun to watch.  Tim and Craig Priewe (the orange 9 modified) had an outstand duel to the finish.

Steve would especially like to thank Tim, Rich and Tracy for their help in putting Steve's car back together.  Also, Steve would like to thank Krahn Performance Racing for their hard work in replacing bent bars in Steve's car.

Update: May 31, 2002: Dale finishes 4th in the feature at Luxemburg.

Update: June 1, 2002: Tim finishes 6th and Dale finishes 7th in the feature at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

Update: May 28, 2002.  Tim finishes fourth in the feature and second in the mod challenge race at Oshkosh.  Steve destroyed the rear part of his car in an accident at the end of his heat.  Steve will not be racing this Saturday night or next Tuesday night.  He hopes to have the car back for the June 8th race at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam.

__

Update: May 26, 2002:  Tim scores a 6th place finish at the modified special at the Dells Motor Speedway today.  The rule requiring dirt modifieds with 4 barrel  carburetors to weigh 3,000 pounds (400 to 500 pounds more than the asphalt modifies) did not allow Tim to be competitive.  The nickname for Tim's car today is the lead sled!

____

_Update: May 25, 2002:  Hard to believe that we are losing another Saturday night to bad weather, but we are.  Rain, rain go away come again on other than racing days!

____

Update: May 21, 2002:  Tim and Steve made the trip to the Powercom Speed Zone track in Oshkosh.  On a very slick track, both Steve and Tim transferred to the feature race from their respective heat races.  After spinouts on the first two feature starts, the race went (I think) green, white, checkers.  Tim finished 3rd in the feature.  Steve suffered a bent rim and flat tire as he was unable to avoid some of the spinning cars on the first restart.   After Steve's tire and wheel were replaced, he got back out on the track and finished several laps down.  (Probably 15th place.)  A special thank you to our crew; Rick, Jerry and Igie.  Also, thank you to Kevin Kleinschmidt and his pit crew for lending us a hand tonight!

Update:  May 18, 2002:  Tim scores a clean sweep winning both his heat race and the feature.  It was a great feature to watch as Tim and Brian Mullen ran side by side for many laps before Brian blew his motor.  Tim was able to withstand challenges by a few drivers to win the feature.

Steve transfer directly into the feature by running 3rd in his heat race.  As Steve was ready to take the green flag to start the race, his battery cable connector broke.  Steve finished last in the feature.  Don't you hate it when a 73 cent part causes a problem like that?

We will be getting the cars ready to run at Powercom Park next Saturday night.  Tim, Dale and Steve are expecting run the Saturday Powercom Park race.

____

Update: May 14, 2001:  Tim and Steve raced at Oshkosh and both had mechanical problems.  Tim and Steve were both in the 1st mod heat.  Tim started 2 row inside and Steve 2nd row outside.  After an aborted start, Steve moved to the outside poll.  Steve shot into the lead on the start, closely followed by Tim and the 8 car of Drexler.  Steve led several laps before Tim was able to get around Steve on an inside move.  Steve followed Tim until the caution came out (around lap 5 or 6).  On the restart Steve's transmission slipped and he pulled into the lower grove of the track.  Also on the restart, Tim blew his motor and spun in his own oil just short of the flag stand.  With the cars accelerating behind Tim, he got clobbered pretty good.  Besides putting in a different motor, there is sheet metal work and bent brackets in the rear end.  Hopefully the rear end is not bent.  Steve's problem was a bad front seal on the transmission.  Both cars should be ready for the race (hopefully not in the snow) at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam on Saturday.

In addition to Rich Sailing of our crew, I would like to thank Jim Krahn of Krahn Performance Racing in Beaver Dam and fellow modified driver Kelly Brown for their help in the pit.  All three of them were helping Steve on pit lane get back into the race.  Unfortunately, the problem was too big to solve on pit lane.  Thank you, Jim, Kelly and Rich!

_______

Update: 05/04/2002:  I believe that Dale ran at Luxemburg Friday night, but I have not seen the results yet.  Steve ran at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.  31 Modifieds were there.  Steve blew up his motor in the first heat.  (rod I think).  The car was really fast and it was to bad there were mechanical problems.  Three or four other modifieds blew motors.  Kelly Brown in hot laps.  Nick Woods and Scott Magnesen(sp) and I in the first heat.

_________________

Update: 4/30/2002:  With the forecast for rain for last Saturday night, Tim & Steve headed up to Luxemburg for the races last Saturday.  Both cars were fast, but both were involved in accidents (not of their own making).  Tim finished 16th in the feature (DNF steering box) and Steve finished toward the back of the B-main.  It was fun to get back into the cars and race again after a long winter season.   If you check out Luxemburg's web page,  http://www.luxemburgspeedway.com/report/2002/pr021.html , you can see in the bottom picture Nick Woods running into Tim's car after Tim spun out in his heat to avoid another car.  Dale had planned to race Friday night, but was unable to make it.  Dale is planning to race at Luxemburg this Friday night.  Steve may race at the Dodge County Fairgrounds this Saturday.  All three drivers are expecting to race at Powercom Park on Saturday, May 11, 2002.

October 6, 2001, Powercom Park.  Tim takes second place in the modified feature.  Dale finishes 5th.  Steve finishes 10th in the B-main.  (Although there were many scoring problems and Steve may have finished 8th.)

September 29, 2001, Powercom Park.  Tim Lemirande sets a new career mark with his 8th feature win of the season.  Steve started 7th in his heat and finished 5th to transfer into the feature from his heat race.  Tim and Dale were in the third heat and started nose to tail.  Dale on the outside pole and Tim second row outside.  Dale and Tim raced close early in the race with the 1C car getting around Dale to take the lead.  Dale had engine problems and was finished for the night.  The 1C car lost a oil filer or something which caused a fire under the hood and deck of his car.  Tim restarted the heat race 1st and won the heat, putting him into the invert for the feature.  Tim drew the outside pole position for the feature and Steve started 13th.  Steve spun out to avoid another car that spun out and was hit in the left front wheel forcing him into the pits for fast repairs.  Thanks, Dale, Bill, Jerry, Dicky and Rich for the fast work to get Steve back out.  Steve finished the feature somewhere around 15th or 16th.

Tim lost a few positions on the restart.  Tim made a charge around the two cars that had gotten around him earlier and won the feature.  This was Tim's 8th feature win of the year and 5th feature win at Powercom Park.

Our next race is next Friday and Saturday night, October 5 & 6 at Powercom Park.  This is the Fall Classic Special and the final race of the season for the Xracing team.  Check out the Powercom's website for details.

__________________________________________________________________

Saturday, September 22, 2001, Powercom Park.  On a very fast, tacky and rutty track, the Xracing team did not do as good as we have been.  Dale did run good to finish 4th in his heat and transfer directly to the feature.  Tim was running second, when he spun out and had to run the B-main (which he won) to get to the feature.  Steve finished toward the end of his heat after spinning out.  Steve finished 6th in the first B-Main.

After narrowing the field from 45 modifeds to 20 for the feature, the feature when green for the first 18 laps.  There was plenty of banging in the feature.  Tim was hit hard by the 19C car and fell to the back of the pack.  He was able to move through traffic to finish 9th.  Dale held his own in the feature and finished somewhere around 13th.

Congratulations to Rick Strommen, car number 12 for winning the points championship at Powercom Park.  Also, congratulations to Jay Schraufnagel, car 10s for winning the points championship at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.

We hope that Kelly Brown in modified car 44 gets well soon!  He was involved in an accident in his mod heat.  We had herd that Kelly was transported to the hospital and has a broken pelvis.

Tim picks up his 7th feature win of this season as he takes the top spot in the feature at the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday night, September 15.  Before the races started, the fairgrounds honored the victims of this past weeks tragedy with patriotic songs and a moment of silence.   Tim won his heat race.  Dale was back racing this week.  Dale and Steve were in the 3rd heat.  Dale started from the back and finished 6th.  Steve started outside pole and finished last.  Dale transferred to the feature from the B-main.  Steve finished the night with a 10th place finish in the B-main.  In the feature, a big accident on the first lap collected about half the field.  Tim was in front of the accident and Dale was able to miss it.  That moved Dale up to about 8th place on the restart.  Tim took the early lead and was challenged by Scott Lewis in the 6L car.  Something broke on Scott's car and he went to the infield.  Dale moved up to 3rd place until a broken track bar bracket broke and he dropped out of the race.  Dale finished the feature 16th.  Tim  withstood challenges from a few other cars and won the feature by about 6 seconds.

September 8, 2001, Powercom Park.  Under threatening skies, we got the whole race show in at Powercom Park.  Tim finished 2nd in his heat and 6th in the feature.  Tim was headed toward the front when he was involved in an accident and spun out.  He quickly moved back through the pack but could only get to 6th before the laps ran out.  Steve  had a career best finish in his heat - 2nd.  He got a great start from the outside pole and ran first for about the four laps before going over the cushion a few times.  Steve finished 13th in the feature after starting on the pole.

The race scheduled Sunday, September 9th at Powercom Park was cancelled because of wet grounds. :(

We are planning on running at the Dodge County Fairgrounds this Saturday, September 15.

Friday, August 17, 2001, Luxemburg.  Tim starts the feature 6th and finishes 7th.  There were 40 + mods at Luxemburg.  Steve did not go to Luxemburg.

Tuesday, August 14, 2001, Oshkosh.  Tim was involved in an 11th lap minor accident.  He had to start at the back of the pack and finished 4th in the feature.  Steve did not race.  Steve is fighting off a viral infection.

Luxemburg special was called off because of rain and rescheduled for August 17.  Tim is planning on going.  Steve probably will not go.  Sure hope we can get the rain out of the forecast for this Saturday.

Wednesday, August 8, 2001, Powercom Park.  Tim finishes 2nd in his heat and draws the 5th starting position for the feature.  Tim moved past  Brian Mullen to get up to 2nd place.  As Tim was catching the leader, his right rear tire went flat.  Tim lost several laps in the pits and finished somewhere around 17th.  Steve started 8th in his heat race and finished 6th.  Steve started 8th in one of the two B-mains and finished somewhere around 8th.

Our upcoming racing plans are to race Tuesday night, August 14, 2001 at the track in Oskosh, WI, Thursday night, August 16, 2001 at the IMCA special at Luxemburg, WI and Saturday, August 18, 2001.

Tim finished second to Brian Mullen in an exciting modified feature race.  Tim started 9th in the feature and Brian started 3rd or 4th.  Brian got out to an early lead, while Tim was coming through the pack with several thrilling passes.  The yellow flag came out with Tim in 2nd place and Ken Priesgen in 3rd.  Tim and Ken battled each other for serveral laps before pulling away from Ken.  Tim caught Brian and they raced each other for the remaining laps.  Tim took the lead from Brian late in the race, but Brian was able to move past Tim for the win.

Steve was seventh in the B-main.

Tim wins at Powercom Park July 14, 2001

Tim won his heat race and the modified feature at Powercom Park on Saturday, July 14, 2001, in front of one of the better crowds of the season.

Tim has been on a hot streak finishing first or second in  the last four races he's entered.

Steve had a career best 3rd in his heat race.  Steve started 4th in the feature, but fell back to 13th.

When your given lemons, why not make lemonade?

Saturday, July 7th started out good for the Xracing Team.  Tim who his heat race and Steve was sixth in his heat race.  Unfortunately, the rear end housing in Tim's car broke just as he won his heat race.

Tim jumped in Steve's 11x car and started last in the field of 24 cars.  He had moved up to 9th by lap four and continued in assault to the front.  The time limit on the race expired on lap 15 on the 20 lap feature with Tim catching the lead car of Joe Houpt.  It was a great run for Tim (second) .  Tim really put on a show for the great Powercom fans.

Way to go Tim!  You looked awesome out there!

Also a special thank you to our fast working pit crew: Rich Sailing, Jerry Lemirande and Bill Piechowski.  They are the best week in and week out and we would not be racing without them!

After the worst week ever for the Xracing team that included a year ending wreck for Dale and two major crashes for Tim, we bounced back Saturday night with Tim winning the feature and Steve finishing a career best 9th at Powercom Park.  A special thanks to the Roost Bar in Beaver Dam for putting up an additional $100 for the feature winner.  It is much appreciated!

Next week, July 7, we will be back at Powercom Park.  Check out the Powercom Park web site at http://www.powercompark.com

t was a strange night of racing at the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday night June 16, 2001.  Tim, Dale and Steve all made the feature from their heat races.  This was the first time Steve made the feature directly from the heat race at the fairgrounds.  While the DCRA Pure Stocks were running their first heat, a storm with high winds and rain blew in.  The track crew did a great job to get the track back in shape to run the rest of the show.

Tim started 9th, Dale started 11th and Steve started 13th in the modified feature.  There were a lot of accidents in the feature.  All three of our cars were damaged in various incidents.  A lot of other cars were also damaged in the feature.  Dale finished 6th, Steve finished 11th and Tim finished 16th.

Steve’s 11th place finish in the feature is a career best for him!  Dale continues to be second in points, five points out of first place.  Tim continues to be in forth in points and Steve moved up to a tie for 21st in points.

Congratulations Steve on your best place in a feature ever!

Thank you Rich Photos

Tim Lemirande wins feature at the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday May 26, 2001!  Dale Boershinger finishes 4th!  Steve was 9th in the B-main.

The track stayed tacky all night (Great Job of the track prep!).  Tim got to the lead early and was pressured by Jay Schraufnagel and Dan Musbach for most of the feature.  You could have thrown a blank and covered all three cars.  Dale made a great run catching the leaders at the end of the race.

Outstanding Job Tim and Dale!

_____________________________________________________________________________

Dale takes third place in the feature and moves into a tie for 1st place in point!  On a very slick track, Dale held the lead for a few laps on May 19, 2001.  A broke shock mount cause handling problems or he may have won.  Dale really earned his money this week.  After spinning out in his heat, he had to run the B-main.  (Which he won.)

Tim was involved in an accident while battling for the lead and finished in 19th spot.

Steve finished 9th in the B-main after fighting a very loose car on a very slick track.

Dale is tied for 1st in points, Tim is tied for 10th in points and Steve is tied for 25th in points.

Way to go Dale!  Keep up the consistent runs!

Dale Boershinger finishes fifth  and Tim Lemirande finishes 17 after a coil wire problem in the feature at  the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday night May 12, 2001.  Steve Boelter missed the B Main transfer after having transmission problems in the B Main.  There were 37 mods on site!

Dale is in 3rd place in points, Tim is in 7th place and Steve is in 25th place.

Tim Lemirande finishing third and Dale Boershinger finishes sixth in one of the more exciting IMCA  Modified A Main at  the Dodge County Fairgrounds on Saturday night April 28, 2001.  Steve Boelter missed the B Main transfer spot by one position after carburetor problems in the heat.

Good Job Guys!

____________________________________________________________________________

ngratulations Tim on your second place finish at Shawano April 14, 2001.  Second out of 60+ mods is outstanding!

We are all glad that Dale did not get hurt during a six car accident early in the feature.

Tim wins the A-Main Saturday night at the Dodge County Fairgrounds (July 15, 2000)

After blowing up his engine in hot laps, Tim borrowed Steve's 11x (Tim's car from last year) and proceeded to qualifiy for the main effent from his heat.  Tim started 6th in the feature and quickly moved into the lead.  This was Tim's first feature win of the year!  Dale finished the feature in 3rd place.

Dale is currently 3rd in points (8 points from 1st place!), Tim is 6th and Steve is 27th.
