2005 Accomplishments:
2005 AMA District 16 200A Champion:
Pete won the District 16 Championship for 2005 in the most competitive classes in the state, the 200A class. After many close battles with his competitors he was able to edge out multi state champ JD Friebel for the overall. At the awards banquet in Wisconsin Dells in early November Pete was presented with his winner plaque, sweatshirt and KTM Bucks Check (KTM is the brand motorcycle he rides).

Pete would like to personally thank Steve Barr of Barrs Kawasaki for fully getting behind Petes racing program for the 2006 championship season as well as to Brandon Mueller of Moose Racing for all of his help in getting Pete on the Moose racing team. He (Pete) will be competing in 2006 on the brand new model 200cc XC with the hopes of bringing another championship home. 1/16/05: Late breaking news: Pete has been rewarded a Factory support ride from KTM for 2006 based on his 2005 accomplishments and plans for the 2006 season. Pete wishes to give special thanks to Rick Slavik, the KTM regional sales manager, "Rick is the driving force behind making this huge addition to our racing program in 2006" stated Pete and added "This is a major addition to my program for the upcoming year, the folks that are standing by me for the 2006 racing season are the best, and it is a pleasure to represent them!" explained Pete in a recent phone conversation.
